“Hey, did you bother to check the tenant’s background on 10th pl, because they have a grow house going on and they have nine pitbulls.”
“Oh, not again!”
“I hope they will be approved! Our approval process is so hard. Their income per month has to be three times the rent, no evictions, no felonies, no bankruptcies, and good credit scores.”
“Excuse me, you’re forgetting the biggest part! You have to tell them why we’re different than any other property management company in Southwest Florida! Our agents don’t get to make the decision on who goes in the property, the assistant property managers, who are salaried make the final decision based solely on the information on the application, not based on wanting to get paid. This way, the best applicant gets placed in the property every time virtually eliminating evictions, and headaches in general. It’s part of the Douglas Difference.
